Who is this site for?

This documentation site is for users of the QlikView Web Parts for Sharepoint AND QlikView Server 8.5.

Sharepoint is being used increasingly more in businesses as a portal to relay information and documents throughtout an organisation, so the possibility to show Business Intelligence reports in Sharepoint is a natural progression.

The QlikWeb Web Parts for Sharepoint enable web pages in Windows Sharepoint Serviced (WSS) 3.0 or MOSS 2007 to have dashboards showing native QlikView objects such as charts, gauges, tables and listboxes linked to an underlying QlikView application.

If you are using QlikWeb WorkBench AND QlikView Server 8.5, then you need to go here.

If you're using QlikView Server 8.2, then you need to go here.

What will this site cover?

This web site is primarily aimed at getting you up and running, so it will cover topics such as installing the QlikView Web Part, adding the web parts to Sharepoint and creating web pages. It will not go into too much detail on particular objects.

First Time Users

We'd recommend that you read through what you need, to ensure that you have all the right tools for you to start developing Sharepoint sites with QlikView content. We then recommend that you read the installation guide for either WSS 3.0 or MOSS 2007 and then the web part useage guide, which between them will explain everything you need to know to develop your first Sharepoint site with QlikView content.
