In order to use the QlikWeb WorkBench to develop web pages with QlikView content you need to have the following software.
- Install QlikView Server 8.50 or later
- If you are using QlikView 8.2, then please go here.
- An IDE installed to develop your web site, such as one of the following Visual Studio editions:
- Visual Studio 2008
- Visual Studio 2005
- The free Express Edition of Visual Web Developer:
- you can download the Visual Web Developer 2005 Express Edition here or,
- the Visual Web Developer 2008 Express Edition (recommended) here
- You should also have the latest download of the QlikWeb WorkBench Installer, which you can download here.
- .NET 2.0 is Installed
- To check it is installed go to Control Panel -> Add/Remove programs and check that the 'Microsoft .NET 2.0 Framework' is listed. If it is not then you can download and install it from here.
- Once this is present, go to IIS (Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager) and on the 'Web Service Extensions' node ensure that the ASP.NET v2.0.X is present and set to Allowed.

Throughout this web site it will be assumed that Visual Studio 2008 is being used. As such there may be some slight variations between the screenshots on this site and what you see in your IDE.
